What to bring
- Any MRI, X-ray or ultrasound reports and the films or CD
- A list of current medicines, including blood thinners and diabetes medication
- Previous prescriptions or discharge summaries
- A first consultation takes about twenty minutes. If a procedure is planned for the same day, allow ninety minutes.
Before a procedure
If you take a blood thinner (warfarin, clopidogrel, apixaban and similar), tell the clinic when booking — some procedures require it to be paused under your physician’s guidance. Eat normally unless told otherwise. Arrange for someone to drive you if sedation is planned.
